He has authored or co-authored more than 50 papers published in
international/national journals and conferences, such as IEEE TNNLS, IEEE T. Cybernetics, IEEE TSMC-B, Pattern Recognition, and Information Sciences. As the PI, he has investigated more than 20 projects, including two projects of NSFC (one youth and one general), one NIH international collaborative project (China’s PI), one general project of NSF of Jiangsu, two high-level talent programs of Jiangsu, and the others sponsored by governments or cooperative enterprises. He has obtained more than 10 patents (PCT and Chinese invention) as well as software rights. He has been included in two high-level talent programs of Jiangsu:Six Talent Peaks Projectas well asQinglan Project, andachieved theTeaching Achievement Award of Jiangsu Province(2nd class, No 3),Science and Technology Progress Award of China Business Federation(1st class, No 1), andScience and Technology Progress Award of Wuxi(2nd class, No 1).
